Our CBL project is finally coming to a close. Just recently, we participated in the Forum, were many projects, including ours, were presented to as many as a hundred people! Most of the people that listened to our presentation were informed about the problem, solution, and many facts about lowering the risk of getting Type 2 diabetes. Questions from viewers included why we got interested in the subject, why we liked each other’s characteristics that contributed to the group, and many others. The visitors seemed very interested, especially since they took all the pamphlets and other information we gave them.
Overall, it was a success, considering we spread awareness about lowering the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, and we intrigued our community. And with the Forum completed, we have taken our final steps in finishing the project, with three main goals fulfilled: we informed the public about a problem and will make a long lasting effect, we learned how to work as a group and find success within a group, and most importantly we have spread information that will save American lives. Lastly, thanks to everybody who stayed caught up with our project and to everyone that helped our idea become a reality, and remember, by spreading the word, you can save lives!
